Casey Clark
Casey Clark co-pastors New Monmouth Presbyterian Church in Lexington, VA, alongside his wife, Rachel, sharing a deep passion for ministry and a commitment to nurturing faith within their congregation. Together, they work to create an environment where their community can grow spiritually and flourish in the love of Christ. Prior to relocating to Virginia, Casey served a church in Durham, NC, where he focused on discipleship and cultivating a love for Scripture among the congregation. During this time, he also launched Year in the Bible, a website designed to inspire and equip individuals in their personal journey of Bible reading, reflecting his dedication to making God’s Word accessible and engaging for all.
Casey’s academic journey began at James Madison University, where he majored in history, deepening his appreciation for the intersection of faith and culture. His intellectual curiosity and desire to explore theological questions led him to pursue his Master of Divinity at Princeton Theological Seminary. There, he honed his theological insights and pastoral skills, preparing him for his role in ministry and leadership.
In addition to his pastoral work, Casey is an avid soccer enthusiast, both as a player and a fan. His love for the game provides a sense of community and connection, as he enjoys bonding with others over shared sporting experiences. He also has a penchant for solving murder mysteries and savoring a good cup of coffee—interests that reflect his thoughtful, analytical, and curious nature.
Whether encouraging others in their walk with Christ, diving into the complexities of Scripture, or enjoying the simple pleasures of life, Casey’s approach to ministry and daily living embodies a balance of depth, connection, and joy. Together with Rachel, he continues to lead with dedication and grace, inviting others into a vibrant and transformative faith journey.
