Charles Teixeira

Charles Teixeira was born just south of Boston, Massachusetts, and became a believer shortly before starting college. He attended the University of Connecticut before transferring to Gordon College in Massachusetts, where he earned a degree in Biblical and Theological Studies. After graduation, Charles worked as a social worker for three years in a group home, where he supported teenagers who had been removed from their homes. This experience deeply shaped his compassion and pastoral heart, laying the foundation for his future ministry.

From 2012 to 2019, Charles served with XXXChurch (xxxchurch.com) as a contributor and pastoral counselor, offering support to men struggling with sex addiction. His role in this ministry involved guiding individuals towards healing and freedom through a Christ-centered approach. His dedication to this cause exemplified his commitment to helping others find restoration and spiritual growth.

Charles' first ordained ministry position came in Midland, Texas, where he served as Assistant Pastor of Congregational Care. In this role, he provided pastoral care, counseling, and support to the congregation, deepening his ministry experience and nurturing a heart for the spiritual well-being of others. Recently, Charles transitioned to his current role as the pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Albert Lea, Minnesota, where he continues his ministry, leading with grace, compassion, and faithfulness.

Charles is married to Elizabeth, who shares in both life and ministry. Together, they are raising two sons, AJ and Isaac, whose energy and joy bring life to their home. They are also proud pet parents to a lively orange cat named Ginny Weasley. In his spare time, Charles enjoys reading, traveling, and cheering on the Boston Red Sox, especially when they're winning. His life reflects a deep commitment to serving others and living out his faith.
