Daniel Korneychuk
Dan Korneychuk is a highly respected liturgist, choral and orchestral conductor, and leader in Christian worship and the arts. With a deep passion for music and faith, Dan has dedicated much of his life to leading worship in a variety of Christian traditions. He has served in several congregational settings, including Evangelical Free, Evangelical Covenant, Friends (Quaker), and Presbyterian (PC/USA), enriching each community with his expertise in blending music, liturgy, and theology to foster meaningful worship experiences.
Over the course of his career, Dan has led numerous choirs and orchestras, creating opportunities for congregations to engage with worship through the power of music. His leadership has been marked by a deep commitment to excellence, collaboration, and spiritual formation, as well as a heart for making the gospel accessible and relevant through creative worship expressions. Dan’s work spans beyond the pulpit, as he has also been instrumental in training and mentoring other worship leaders, musicians, and artists in local church contexts.
In 2022, after many years of full-time ministry, Dan retired, taking time to reflect on his journey and the larger state of the Christian movement in the United States. In his retirement, he is focused on exploring what it means to faithfully follow Jesus in the 21st century, particularly amidst the cultural and theological shifts facing the church today. As part of this reflection, he is considering how the church can authentically engage with contemporary challenges and reimagine its role in a rapidly changing world.
Dan’s journey continues to inspire those in the worship and arts communities, as he seeks to reconcile tradition with innovation and help others rediscover the transformative power of faith in today’s world.
