Mark D. Roberts
Dr. Mark D. Roberts is a Senior Strategist at Fuller’s Max De Pree Center for Leadership, where he focuses on the spiritual development and thriving of leaders. With a deep commitment to integrating faith and leadership, Mark provides strategic guidance to help leaders live out their faith in transformative ways in their work and personal lives. He is also the principal writer of the daily devotional Life for Leaders, which offers spiritual encouragement and wisdom to leaders seeking to align their faith with their leadership practices.
Mark is the founder of the De Pree Center’s Flourishing in the Third Third of Life initiative, a program that provides resources and support to individuals in the later stages of their careers who are seeking meaning and purpose. Throughout his career, Mark has served in various leadership roles, including as the Executive Director of the De Pree Center, the lead pastor of a church in Southern California, and the Senior Director of Laity Lodge in Texas.
In addition to his leadership roles, Mark has authored eight books, dozens of articles, and over 2,500 devotions. His writings focus on helping individuals discover how faith can shape their everyday lives and leadership. Mark’s academic background includes a Ph.D. in New Testament from Harvard University, and he currently teaches at Fuller Seminary, where he leads a Doctor of Ministry cohort on “Faith, Work, Economics, and Vocation.”
Mark is married to Linda, a marriage and family counselor, spiritual director, and executive coach. Together, they have two grown children who are educators at the high school and college levels. Through his writing, teaching, and leadership, Mark continues to impact leaders by helping them thrive spiritually and professionally.
