William Rowley
William Rowley (MA, Talbot School of Theology; PhD, University of Rochester) provides vital administrative assistance for The Pastor’s Workshop, contributing his expertise in philosophy and writing to support the ministry’s mission of equipping church leaders. As an occasional lay preacher, William also shares his insights and passion for Scripture, helping to encourage and edify congregations through thoughtful and well-prepared messages.
With a background in philosophy, William holds a Master’s degree from Talbot School of Theology and a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Rochester. His academic pursuits have primarily focused on epistemology, the study of knowledge and belief, and he has authored several articles on these topics, contributing to the field of philosophy. His deep engagement with these philosophical inquiries enriches his ability to think critically and engage thoughtfully with theological and practical questions, which he brings to both his administrative work and occasional preaching.
In addition to his work with The Pastor’s Workshop, William has taught courses in philosophy and writing, where he has helped students sharpen their reasoning and communication skills. His passion for education is evident in his commitment to helping others think deeply about both philosophical and theological concepts, guiding them to understand and apply these ideas in their lives.
William also works as an editor, refining and polishing content to ensure clarity and precision, a skill he brings to his many contributions to The Pastor’s Workshop. Outside of his professional life, William enjoys living in Hamden, Connecticut, with his wife and two dogs.
